BUSEK HISTORY Busek was founded over two decades ago by Dr. Vlad Hruby and incorporated in the Commonwealth of  Massachusetts in 1985.  Our facilities are located in Natick, MA approximately 15 miles west of Boston.  We  employ approximately 40 people, of which 26 are degreed scientists and engineers.  Each of our flight programs  grew from SBIR contracts.  Some of our key accomplishments include: • the first US Hall thruster in space (others imported Russian technology) • the first microPPT thrusters following US AF lead   • the first flight electrospray thrusters beating out European companies that still did not catch up   • the first propellant-less Carbon Nano-tube Field Emission Cathode Neutralizer • the world’s lowest noise thrust stand (noise level below 0.1µN/rt-Hz in the 1mHz-100mHz bandwidth)   Contact Busek Co, Inc  |   11 Tech Circle, Natick, MA 01760   |  508.655.5565 Home  |  Contact About Busek Home  >>  About  >>  History Home  |
