FLIGHT PROGRAMS The technology behind each of Busek’s flight programs has been the result of SBIR funding.  Busek is proud to be part of a series of technological firsts - including the first US Hall thruster in space, the first micro-Pulsed Plasma Thruster in space, and the first flight hardware for electrospray propulsion systems, which includes the first propellant-less carbon-nanotube-based cathode.
